stacc overflow
Jarett Dunn: Canadian developer, former Pump.fun insider, and the self-described Robinhood × Anti-Hero now building OpenZoo.
Jarett Dunn, better known as Stacc or @STACCoverflow, has been in crypto since around 2011 — Bitcoin, Ethereum, EOS/WAX, then Solana. In May 2024, while working at Pump.fun, he drained roughly $1.9–2 million in SOL from the platform’s withdraw authority, airdropped portions to random wallets, and livestreamed the act on X.
“I’m about to change the course of history. And then rot in jail.” — @STACCoverflow, minutes after the attack, May 2024
Dunn framed it as theatrical whistleblowing against a memecoin casino. UK courts disagreed. He was arrested in London, pleaded guilty, attempted to withdraw the plea, changed counsel, breached bail, and was eventually sentenced to six years in December 2025 for fraud by abuse of position and transfer of criminal property. Jack Rhysider covered the story as Stacc Attack on Darknet Diaries 152.
from builder to inmate to founder
Compressed public history. Dates from contemporaneous reporting; hearing schedules sometimes slipped in coverage.
Builder, bug hunter, Solana native
Crypto generalist across chains. Sought bounties, shipped experiments. A 2023 griefing episode coincided with a Solana outage. Family loss and mental health are part of the background Dunn gives in interviews.
Pump.fun developer
Joined the launchpad and was given privileged access. Pump.fun would later allege he abused an internal withdraw role — not a remote exploit.
Stacc Attack
Drained ~$1.9–2M in SOL, sprayed funds to random addresses, posted the robbery thread in real time, and fully doxxed himself. Pump.fun froze trading and coordinated with police.
UK arrest, bail, plea chaos
Arrested in London. Guilty plea in August 2024; later tried to withdraw it; counsel quit; eventually reaffirmed guilt from custody after bail breaches.
Six years
Wood Green Crown Court sentenced him to six years. The judge rejected the whistleblower framing.
OpenZoo / $TOKEN
From custody-adjacent posting, Dunn and collaborators ship openzoo.fun: an OpenAI-compatible inference proxy with holographic memory, plus $TOKEN as an on-chain payment rail.
openzoo
Cheaper, larger-context AI inference paid on-chain. Bind a corpus once; ask forever.
Product
OpenAI-compatible gateway + MCP server. Holographic memory (leCore). Local shim:
npx openzoo → http://localhost:8402/v1.
$TOKEN contract
Minted on Pump.fun and used as a payment rail for inference.
